Mădălina & Ilie

This is the only wedding I documented back in 2020. Mădălina and Ilie tied the knot somewhere on the hills of Comănești, Bacău county Romania. Their wedding was an outdoor intimate celebration and took place on a hot day at the beginning of september. The outdoor ceremony and reception was held in accordance with the safety restrictions due to Covid-19. All the guests gathered for the civil ceremony witch was conducted by the local city mayor and held outdoor at the same location. Everything was made possible by a great team composed off the local staff, florists and a skillful wedding planner. I first seen Mădălina together with her family at her sister wedding back in 2017. So, naturally I felt comfortable seen so many friendly faces. Trough the day we got to experience genuine moments from the newly weds and guests. Mădălina and Ilie fully lived their moments with tears and laughter next to family and close friends. Now, I invite you to see their wedding day story to live for a moment that wonderful day.

Twenty-twenty, what a year.

2020 was peculiar, a year that I will not forget that easily. For me personally was the year when my wedding photography journey stopped. If you take a look back you’ll find a big nothing. I didn’t blogged a single wedding since the pandemic started and you can hear the crickets on my social media profiles. I had financial issues because of the canceled or postponed weddings. But now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I got my Covid-19 vaccine as soon it was available and now I’m ready to continue my photographic adventure that started eleven years ago. This year you will find me shooting weddings across România in cities like Focşani, Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest and Timisoara.
