Mădălina and Adrian – Forest wedding near lake Siriu.
This is a wedding that took place in the middle of the forest, after a 5 km forest road. I’m writing these words right after my wife just walked into my office bringing me the morning coffee. Mădălina and Adrian, two doctors living in France, have chosen Hadar Chalet as their wedding destination, here in Romania where they were born. Far away from the city noises and concrete, in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains near a spectacular articial lake called Siriu. For me 2018, the year that I encountered them, is about writing more about my experiences, the people and places I encountered in my photographic journey. I first meet the couple through the internet when Madalina inquired me trough an email about the possibility to document their wedding day. I saw them in the morning of their wedding at Hadar Chalet. Whit the help of the morning coffee we talked about the wedding day and decided about few particularities of the day. One of them, the place for the sunset photo session, at a lumber facility near the barn.
Madalina has worn a romantic wedding dress made by Watters ( bought from Plume, Paris) that she assorted with a white bouquet made from Paeonia and Fresia. I imagine her experience searching for the wedding dress in Paris, this must be the ultimate future bride’s dream. Adrian worn a blue French costume made by De Fursac which he assorted with a black bow tie.
Barn wedding at Hadar Chalet.
Hi there, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Daniel Toader, a wedding photographer available to document weddings at Hadar Chalet. I’ve been there and I’m thrilled by this genuine venue. Once you pass over the Siriu dam and you marvel at the artificial man made lake from the height of the suspended road, you are greeted with a one of a kind spectacular scenery. At Hadar Chalet you will find a rustic barn which can accommodate between 50 and 130 wedding guests while the nearby church can officiate the newly wedded orthodox ceremony. The price for renting the barn is affordable and guests can book rooms for the night at the nearby cabins. This old barn that once used to be own by the last Romanian dictator can accommodate your wedding far away from the noises of the city. The venue is situated at 220 km from Bucharest, 170 km from Focșani and 80 km from Brașov. When traveling to this location from Bucharest or Focșani, keep in mind to follow route E85 and make the turn at Buzău and then follow the route to Întorsura Buzăului.
