Alina & Andrei – From Bucharest To The Wedding House
Alina and Andrei’s wedding started in the center of Bucharest, Romania on the Unirii Boulevard. The ceremony took place at the Italian Church and was followed shortly after by an awesome party at The Wedding House, Poiana Lui Stanga. So, their big day was split into two chapters. The getting ready and the catholic ceremony in the heart of the Romanian capital and the outdoor wedding, 40 km away, in a small village glued to the A1 highway. A small gathering among close friends, where having fun is all that matter.
Yes, it’s true, weddings are made for connecting people. I first meet these two at a wedding I photographed back in 2013. Listening to the answer Alina gave to the priest, they also first meet at a wedding. Now, as I’m writing this (always late with the written story) they have 2 children. A while ago I had the pleasure of photographing the first born, the baptism of Boris.
Awesome Outdoor Wedding
We had live music with a twist performed by Silviu Pasca @baiatulcubarbamare and a deejay from Craiova mixing the 90’s golden era of dance. Yes, literally we danced on the table, played tennis on the sand in the middle of the night and keep partying until morning like we were eighteen. Above all, I knew almost everyone at the wedding. At seven, the next day, as I was driving on the highway, feeling all ready nostalgic only one thing was bugging my mind, please God, at least one more wedding like this.
For the majority of us The Wedding House was one of the first outdoor wedding venues available in Romania, a trend starter if you wish, a perfect match for the Pavel Family.
